Though not first (or even second) in line, he’s still a Prince and still handsome as can be. Prince Jefferson has two girls right on his heals- his ex-girlfriend, Daphne- the well polished, suitable partner and America’s sweetheart (with a secret dark side), and Nina- a commoner and Samantha’s best friend. 

How will the royal siblings navigate through the perils of young love with such a demanding duty to the Crown?

Review: 

What a book! I absolutely adored every moment of it. I don’t typically read young adult novels, but I’m so glad I picked this one. 

This book pretty much has it all- glitz, glamour, romance, forbidden love, politics, schemers, and royal everything! Imagine “The Princess Diaries,” but actually in America– not Genovia. 

The writing style is fabulous. It’s easy and quick to read, without lacking in any detail. McGee also delicately and beautifully writes around the romance parts- for the younger readers out there. 

Conclusion:

I truly loved this book. I’m shocked at how much I loved it, considering it was YA, but wow! I cannot wait to read the second in the series. Highly recommend grabbing a copy!
